One of the fundamental beliefs of Christians is that God loves us so much that He gave His one and only Son, Jesus, to die for us.  Why?  Because His desire is to have a living relationship with each person He has created, which is made possible through the sacrifice of Jesus His Son, all those who believe in Jesus are blessed with this relationship.  Our God is a great God!
